Welcome to the second half of 2016 - already! There is much to look forward to. From September 5 - 9 we sent a team of medical and non-medical volunteers to Nong Khai where we changed the lives of 70 patients, their families and communities. Tickets for our famous Fight Night white-collar boxing event are going on sale. Be quick or miss out! Since our last e-newsletter, Operation Smile Thailand has made progress on a number of fronts. Our Yasothon week-long medical mission was a terrific success. And our Bright Smiles & Happy Hearts program achieved a lot. Read more about those highlights in this edition.

ISLC Event for Student Volunteers

During July 18 - 25, 2016, Operation Smile hosted its 25th International Student Leadership Conference (ISLC) in sunny San Diego, California. During that week, 550 student leaders from 25 countries joined together in leadership training where they played team games, solved team tasks and heard inspiring speakers share their insights on the topics of leadership, overcoming obstacles and what it means to make a difference.

Patient Story

Centuwa

“Centuwa had a rough start to life. His mother passed away only a few months after he was born. Then his father dumped him in a garbage disposal area. On top of that Centuwa had been born with a cleft lip and cleft palate.”

Get Ready to Race for Fight Night Tickets

The price is THB 4,100 per ticket; THB 39,000 per regular table; and THB 48,000 per VIP table. Email us at fightnightbangkok@gmail.com or call 061 638 3571.

Fight Night tickets are worth every satang of their THB 4,100 price because it is perhaps the most enjoyable night out in Bangkok as white-collar corporate types duke it out in a boxing ring, and proceeds from the event benefit Operation Smile Thailand.

As the late great Muhammad Ali said: "Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth."
Fight Night 2016 will take place October 20 in the Napalai Ballroom, Dusit Thani.
